About the Founder

Nicole Thurman knows what it takes to build sales strategies that actually work, because she’s been doing it for decades.

Raised on the Gulf Coast in a family of seven with a modest lifestyle, Nicole learned early how to be resourceful. From working her way through school to building a career that has spanned Fortune 500s, startups, and owner-led businesses, she’s seen every side of sales and knows how to turn strategy into results.

After earning her BS in Marketing & Psychology from Mars Hill University, Nicole began her career in Hawaii as a sales rep for the island’s largest seafood distributor. Alongside her corporate success, she dedicated more than ten years to anti-trafficking efforts both domestically and abroad, a reflection of her drive to make meaningful impact.​

Nicole founded Point Break Growth Partners to give small and mid-sized businesses access to the same sales strategies, processes, and insights that have fueled millions in revenue for larger organizations. Having walked in both the owner’s shoes and sat in the sales leader’s chair, she understands the pressure of wearing many hats—and how to build scalable systems that generate real results without unnecessary complexity or cost.

 

When she’s not helping businesses grow, you’ll find Nicole traversing every nook and cranny of a foreign country with her spouse, cooking ambitious meals for a fun gathering, swimming or surfing in Hawaii, or tackling endless yard projects with a podcast in her ear.

What's With the Name?

While you might be expecting some great one-liner from Johnny Utah played by Keanu Reeves in the famous 1991 film "Point Break", the movie has nothing to do with it. 

 

According to SURFER Magazine, pointbreaks are waves that break off a headland or from an object in the ocean and peel for hundreds of meters down the beach. They’re particularly brilliant because you can surf these from the top of the wave to the bottom, or stand tall and cruise along.
